Pastor Walsh's Bio


Dr. Walsh was born in Hartford, Connecticut. He attended Oakwood University, the University of Miami, School of Medicine and holds a Masters of Public Health from Loma Linda University School of Public Health. He is currently completing his Doctoral Degree in Global Health from Loma Linda University School of Public Health.
 
Dr. Walsh has most recently served as Interim Medical Director for Correctional Medical Services and is the Medical Director for the Family Health Division (including MCAH, Immunizations and Clinics) at the County of Orange Health Care Agency. He is also an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and teaches the Advances in Global Health course for the MPH program at the University of California Irvine.
 
In a wider scope of service, Dr. Walsh serves on the Presidents Advisory Council for HIV/AIDS (PACHA) in Washington D.C. for the current White House administration. He also serves on an advisory committee with the former Surgeon General David Satcher at Morehouse School of Medicine.
 
Dr. Walsh is a sought after speaker and an activist for social justice, especially as it pertains to health care. He enjoys working with youth to build stronger spiritual awareness, leadership, community responsibility and educational success. He currently serves as the Assistant Pastor with youth emphasis at the Mt. Rubidoux SDA Church in Riverside, CA. Dr. Walsh is married and has three children. Most importantly Dr. Walsh seeks to serve the Lord through the preaching and the medical ministries.
